Hello, friends! This episode is a nice Q&A with some great listener-submitted questions. The first one involves some discussion about suicide. Although nothing graphic, just be aware of that. Here are the two questions I cover this episode:

  • I have had thoughts of suicide for a long time, but have never made an attempt. How do I know when to take the thoughts seriously?
  • I am making mistakes at my new job and it's making me anxious and giving me insomnia. This is causing me to make more mistakes and I'm afraid I'm going to lose my job. How can I break this cycle?

As always, you can send me your questions to duffthepsych@gmail.com and full show notes are at duffthepsych.com/episode271

Hello, friends! In this episode, I answer a couple listener questions that are less about direct advice and more about general questions in the field of mental health and psychology. Here's what I cover:

  • Why are there so few mental health providers and why are waitlists so long?
  • Does it make sense to have multiple overlapping diagnoses?

As always, you can send me your questions to duffthepsych@gmail.com and full show notes are at duffthepsych.com/episode270

Hello, friends! In this episode, I have a Q&A featuring the following questions:

  • How can I continue to work on my longtime childhood trauma when I don't remember a lot of my past?
  • Do I have a chance of getting back in my long-distance relationship even though I'm pursuing a Ph.D.?

As always, you can send me questions to duffthepsych@gmail.com and find the full show notes at duffthepsych.com/episode269

Hello, friends! On this episode, I had my wife back on the show. We just chilled on the couch and had a nice wide-ranging conversation about our lives right now, where our relationship is at, and even some of our pet peeves with each other. Enjoy!
